When I first saw this design, I thought it was incredibly smart. The arrangement of branches allows for much more towel storage in such a small space. It keeps towels up off the ground, even on lowest branch. I found it easy to assemble with the tree part. I thought it wasn’t going to last at first, being plastic and feeling somewhat flimsy, but after 4 grueling Arizona summers, it is still standing strong.

However what started to ruin it for me was that it was Incredibly difficult to fill with sand (the fill hole is very small). It was also difficult to move or relocate, as the tree always pops out of the base. While the design is nice, the crossbars are just too small and move too much. Is not good for larger towels either, as they typically will end up touching the floor. However the thing that annoyed me most was that you need to balance the towels on, or else the weight imbalance will tip it over. If it was made with a more sturdy material, perhaps it wouldn’t be so unbalanced.

Overall, I would say the annoyance and impracticality outweigh the positives of this product. I honestly would not recommend this as a way to hang your towels.
