These are light wight and very protective where you needs it. Have had these going on 2 years playing 2x a week in club games and there are zero signs of wear and tear. With the 270 eddition of CCM’s shoulder pads they added DRYfoam Technology. DRYfoam is unique because it’s a closed cell foam that inherently absorbs less sweat than alternative foams, and this means it serves as the basis for most of the pad’s protection.
