So we signed my daughter up for some swim team swim practices thru Swim Neptune this fall to see if it was something she would like to take on as her “thing”. I was worried since her only experience was just swimming in our pool at home. How would she fair with the other kids? Will this totally put her off on swim? I am happy to report that it has not. The coaching staff at Swim Neptune is amazing. They made her feel welcome from the first minute we walked into the pool. They were encouraging and pushed her but not in an aggressive way you see on TV or hear about. There was no pressure to do any of the meets.Once we did one though she became hooked. The coaching staff is right next to the swimmer at the blocks and yelling encouraging words as they are swimming. She won her very first race and that has set of a passion in her I am ecstatic to see. I love how they encourage them to do well in school to. If they get a good report card they would give them a prize (like a free swim cap or shirt).
I love their many locations, flexible schedule and no pressure approach.
