- So I went out and splurged this summer for a new swim suit. I have usually been doing the Target or even Old Navy swim suits and only been ok with them. They just did not fit right, were cut weird or didn’t last after one summer. I took the plunge this summer (ha ha đ Â and got some Athleta swim wear. I have heard great reviews from a lot of friends. I just couldn’t bring my self to spend that kind of money on a swim suit.
- These semi-fitted, mid rise shorts are super comfortable with a build-in brief to eliminate any “oops” moments. I do wish they were a bit longer (they have a 2.5″ inseam), but that is just a personal preference. The wide adjustable waistband helps cover up the extra cookie or burrito I ate earlier. It says they are true to size, but I found that I loved the fit on the legs but had to cinch in the waist quite a bit. I could go down a size but feel the legs would be to tight.
- After swiming in them I have found that the water causes the legs to loosen quite a bit, making it feel like I am wearing a skirt almost. I like the way they fit when dry but not when wet.
- Like I said earlier, they are on the higher price range for a bathing suit-Â $44.
