With our new little ones arrival quickly approaching, I thought it was time to purchase a car seat. We have everything else.

After a headache induced shopping to the baby store we came home with the Lamaze Via Infant Car Seat. It is rated for use from 5 to 35 lbs. Their patented handle features the Energy Rebound management system, which helps management the forward rotation in the event of a crash.

One huge requirement for me was that the harness clips be metal. I did not like how cheap the plastic clips felt. The Lamaze Via Car Seat has the metal clips.

I also liked how easy it was to install this car seat. With side level indicators it was a breeze to install.

At around $159 for the car seat it was a no brainer for us.
