This is by far my go to, store bought, baking mix. Now, I usually like to use homemade mixes but sometimes time just does not permit so I like to keep a box of this on hand.

With whole wheat flour, wheat bran and oat bran added to your typical pancake base (flour, sugar and oil) it gives the normal morning pancake a good dose of fiber…which in turn makes me not feel so bad about serving a boxes mix.

The pancakes that this mix makes are delicious. Everyone requests these over any other box mix. They come out fluffy and dense. Not to air-y or not at all gummy.

For only $1.99 a box (2 lb) it is well worth keeping in the pantry for those times you are in a pinch.
