I have not really been a fan of black tea, always swayed to green tea more. After my last experience with trader joes flavored tea (namely their candy cane green tea…yumm) I was willing to give it a try. Shake things up a bit.

I was pleasantly surprised. It’s still no Candy cane green tea but it will do.  Right out of the box (un-brewed) it’s not the best smelling. Once brewed it begins to smell great, very calming smell.

Upon first sip the aroma is delightful…warm vanilla with a hint of the cinnamon. Then the tea tastes it self is soothing. Not at all a strong black tea taste. The vanilla is predominate and the cinnamon comes up behind it with the black tea in the very back.

At $2 for a box of 20 it is something nice to add into the mix.
