I got these off of Amazon in hopes of scaring off some pesky birds from around my garden. The first two days these were up, the birds seemed to just disappear. I thought these were the end game for my bird problem. However, once the third day came around, the birds caught on to these. I would watch them view from a distance but then slowly get closer and closer until they realized there was no danger. These are very similar to the fake owls, as they will initially work, but if you have the same frequenting birds, they will catch on.

Overall these are worth a shot, however most of the time the birds will return after a short period of time.
