I can’t believe I bought this again.  I owned it a few years ago, tried it, hated it, and threw it away.  I don’t know why I bought it again because it was just as horrible this time as it was last time.

Compared to other style putties on the market this one is the cheapest, which is why I bought it, hoping that it wouldn’t be as bad as last time.  It was and I know I’ll end up throwing it away again.  The putty is green and it feels like something I played with as a kid… messy, sticky, and no good for anything but art projects.  I used it as a gel on wet hair with intent to blow it dry and have good volume around my scalp.  Using my usual technique and large round brush, my hair showed no volume when I finished.  I also used it on my hair when it was dry.  This time I wanted to add texture and separation to my hair.  This didn’t work either and as I tried adding more I noticed that my hair began to look greasy.  Not good.

I have long hair so I thought maybe it would work better for short hair-styles.  I tried it on a family member and the results were the same.  It couldn’t keep the hair standing up.  It couldn’t make the hair look textured and separated.  It did nothing but make the hair look greasy if you applied too much, which is easy to do because I kept adding more as the style wouldn’t hold.

The front of the bottle says it’s for strong hold but I don’t even think it is for light or medium hold. It didn’t hold anything.  I wish there was a similar product at this price but I think to get the look I want I will have to spend significantly more.

There’s nothing good to say about this product unfortunately, except the price is good.  But that usually means poor quality and that is how I would describe it.

After spending $3.49 on this, twice, I definitely find value in spending more to get what I want.
