On a visit to my mom’s house, I used her towels in the guest bathroom and was taken by surprise with how wonderful they felt. They were thick, absorbed water quickly, they were incredibly soft and seemed to be larger than normal. They felt like a luxurious spa towel that I would find at a nice hotel spa. There was a big difference between these towels and the ones I’ve seen at Walmart or Target. They are much better quality and definitely more plush. I was in love the moment I wrapped it around me. I knew I had to buy them for my own house so I looked at the tag and saw the Kirkland signature brand. Costco!
I searched on Costco’s website but they weren’t on there. I went to the warehouse and they had a good stock of them. I think it is one of those popular items they carry just in store.
I bought ten towels in the espresso color. I was a little worried that they would quickly thin out and deteriorate but they have performed very well since two years ago when I bought them. They are still fluffy and bouncy when I take them out of the dryer. They still continue to absorb water really well and they are soft to the touch even after the numerous washings. They have not become misshaped or distorted in any way.
There has been a few times when I have been folding the laundry out of the dryer and noticed that the towels were not completely dried through. In this instance I have had to re-dry them. This is usually not a big deal, especially because I know they are thick, but it can put a damper in my laundry schedule as the clothes in the washer might have to wait longer to be dried and I do not prefer that.
These towels have been a great addition to the bathroom. They feel awesome, last a long time, and look plush when displayed on a bathroom shelf. Despite the inconvenience that I sometimes have in drying them, I do not mind dealing with that because using it is worth the extra drying time.
