Originally purchased this because of the way it looked. Sleek and stylish…just like me.

Boy was I un-impressed. With the stainless thermal pot Krups thought this would be enough to keep my coffee warm…not! Unless you drink it immediately when it is brewed, the coffee drastically starts to cool. I even tried what they suggested in the manual (which I thought was just silly)—filling the pot with hot water prior to brewing the coffee. I want my coffee maker to be a press and go. Set it up the night before, roll out of bed the next morning, press the button and viola hot coffee. Not so in this case.

The thing I did enjoy was the uniquely angled, upward-facing control panel and LCD screen with a high-contrast black-on-white display. I found the auto-on preset to be useless. As stated above, unless you drink it right as it is brewed you will be stuck with cold coffee

The 10-cup thermal double wall pot isn’t as drip free as stated. Also, for me the coffee lover, the pot it self seems to hold a small 10-cup amount.

Also another dislikes, all the hand wash parts. Most coffee makers I have had at least the pot was dishwasher safe.

This Coffee Machine just didn’t live up to my hopes and dreams for it.
