So I was a bit worried about buying my son ‘skinny’ jeans. I think they are something only a girl should wear, but I gave in and got some.
I was pleasantly surprised but they way the fit on him. They were not tight at all…more like a fitted straight leg jean.
We also grabbed a pair of the Old Navy Regular fit jeans and I have to say, I wasn’t too fond of them. There was no shape to the jean. They were very plain and baggy looking.
We went with their Astro wash (just a basic dark indigo blue). I was yet again very happy with the fact they didn’t fade (and haven’t faded after several washes) and didn’t die any of the other clothes in the same wash.
One of my favorite things about Old Navy’s Jeans is their adjustable waistline. This allows me to get a larger size (both for length and so that they will last longer since most kids grow the second you buy them pants) and synch it in with the elastic tabs on the inside of the jeans.
The only thing I do not like about their jeans is that they do not come in tall sizes. They come in regular and husky but not tall.
They retail for only about $20 each but are almost always on sale for less.
