With a new addition coming to the family, we are preparing in full swing. Since the last one it has been a few years and we got rid of most everything. Therefore we needed to fully restock. First up was the bassinet.

After spending endless hours searching thru hundreds of bassinets I cam to the conclusion that they are essentially all the same. Some offer hi-zut light shows for this baby others connect to mp3 players. Crazy stuff. I just wanted something simple for the baby to sleep in. Thus, I found the Safety First Nod-a-Way Bassinet.

The Nod-a-Way Bassinet offers Smart Soother™ technology. Which helps quiet your restless baby by music, sounds, and gentle vibration. Which in turn means a few more minutes or rest during the night hours.  The attached wheels are good for easy portability.

I have found the peek-a-boo window a bit pointless. I couldn’t really see thru it. And when I had to put it together, the instructions were a bit difficult to understand.

Given the price I was surprised at the quality. The Nod-a-Way Bassinet was very well crafted and durable. I paid around $89 for this bassinet.

I would recommend this bassinet to anyone with a new addition coming to his or her family.
