This Athleta Shirred Full Tide Bottom is a great compliment to the other two tops I previously bought from Athleta. At $42 they are priced on the higher side for a swim suit separate, but I feel still a good price. We have a pebble tech bottom pool and it tears up swim suit bottoms every year. After wearing it quite a few times the signs of wear have not appeared (no getting fuzzy in the seat area or pilling).

This full tide bottom is a full rise, full seat and sits about 2 fingers below the belly button. It has a slight shirred bunching along both sides. Some reviewers said they did not like it, I do. It helps hide any missed trips to the gym. I really like that it covers my whole tush. I never felt like I was having to constantly adjust to feel comfortable and covered. I have been able to run and chase kids around the beach and pool with out fear of a cheek being exposed.

I wish they would have half sizes since I got a medium and feel it is a little to big, but still manageable. A small would have made me feel like a sausage.
