This saw is good buy, only if you are going to be doing light to moderate work.

I purchased this to help my son with his Pinewood Derby car for Cub Scouts. It took longer than I thought to get everything dialed in correctly. When we were finally able to get to cutting I had to move very slowly to make curves. Even then they were jagged and required a lot of sanding work.

The led work light was useful to attempt precision cuts.

I am defiantly not a carpenter or a expert wood worker but this saw seemed to be able to handle my small projects.

For the price ($119) and the fact that I don’t use it heavily, I would consider it a good buy.
