This is amazing for toddlers/young kids to work on recognition skills. All of the marine life in the puzzle are on the borders for the child to locate and match. I also like how it gets the children more familiar with marine life, my son especially was all about it. The colors are very vibrant and there is a lot going on so it keeps the little one’s attention. The pieces of the puzzle are not super flimsy and have held up real nice during our use of over a year. You also can’t argue with the price point (on sale on Amazon for $14).

My only complaint is it isn’t as realistic as I would like it to be. I understand it is a cartoon and meant to hold the child’s attention, however the sizing proportions of the animals are totally off. The sea turtle appears to be 2x the size of the blue whale. I am just worried this might confuse the child if they were to learn more about sea creatures. Other than that, I highly recommend this puzzle for any child with an interest in the ocean.
