The Wagan 2546 Solar ePower Cube is a decent compact solar generator. Over this past summer I took it camping with the family. I really liked that while we were setting up camp I could simply roll it out to the sun and know that it was charging. It features 2 Universal AC Outlets, 2 USB Power Ports to charge cell phones, MP3 players, tablets & e-readers, and laptop, Digital voltmeter for checking battery status, AC & DC chargers and more.
Now what I was not fond of was it seemed to take quite a while to charge. According to the instructions up to 24 hours for a full charge and not much effort to run the charge down. To be fair we did not initialy allow enough time for a full charge (about 4-6 hours) and the power ran out rather quickly (about 1 hour).
It is a bit heavy but the Wagan company thought about that and put some wheels and a colapsable handle for easier transport.
It is pretty comprable in price to others out there, around the $900 price range. If you can find it cheaper it is a good buy for the piece of mind of knowing you have a powersource in an emergency.
