This summer we decided to embark on family camping trips. It has been a blast.
Now each time we go camping we find fun little extras that would make each trip that much better. This last time we got some pads for our sleeping bagsā¦.Alps Air Pads to be specific.
With all the noises from wild life we here at night, we might as well be comfortably nervous.
We checked out a few different air pads but being over 6 foot tall, we decided to invest in this one. All the others were to thin or short.
One of the best camping investments we have made. This air pad is incredibly comfortable and reasonably light (about 10 pounds). It is self-inflating, which is awesome when you are camping and have no power (or forgot a generator to run a pump). Only draw back is it was quite a bit of work to put into the handy storage sacks they give you.
But for the quality of sleep we got I would say it was worth it.
