When camping a major necessity for me, on top of a tent and sleeping bag, is coffee. To be honest a major necessity for any day is coffee.

The Coleman 10-cup Propane coffeemaker is a terrific addition to my camping gear. It is run on a 16.4 oz propane cylinder, so no stove, cords or percolator is required.  The coffeemaker will run for about 4 ½ hours on the propane cylinder.

It is so easy to start. Simply push the InstaStart ™ ignition button and the coffee will start brewing in the glass decanter. With 4,500 BTU you are sure to have a hot cup of coffee in about 18 min (for the full 10 cups capacity). That was the only down side I found is the wait.

It weighs about 9 pound and comes with a 3 year warranty. You can purchase a carrying case for it but I didn’t find it necessary.

At around $78 it is a fantastic addition to any campers gear.
