They say they are cooking forks, but for us they were s’more sticks!  Every camp out, we bring the traditional Hershey’s chocolate bar, graham crackers, and marshmallows.  On the first night, we roast after dinner and eat ‘till our hearts content.  The cooking forks (s’more sticks) were perfect.

We really liked that they are double pronged.  We were able to cook more food at one time.  There is enough space in between the prongs so that the food isn’t too crowded; allowing for even cooking.  The ends of the prongs are sharp enough to thread food through it, but not too sharp for us to think it was dangerous.  Our kids were able to use them so long as they were supervised.  They loved that they could pile on their marshmallows and cook them over the fire.  They are also expandable to make the fork taller.  They were able to stack 5 of them on each side.  They had a ball!

Of course s’more aren’t the only thing we used them for, we cooked hot dogs on them as well.  That was easy and fun also.  Each prong held one hot dog so we were able to cook a good amount rather quickly.  This was awesome for us because our whole family became very hungry after a long afternoon hike.  Pulling out the hot dogs and cooking them within ten minutes was the perfect dinner at the end of the day.

After our camp out, they were just as useful at our house.  We stored them in a place where they would be easily reached.  Every now and again when the weather is good, we break out the firepit and have an outdoor gathering with family and neighbors.  These have been great as they were fun to use while chatting with others, or for the kids who liked to eat treats while the adults were talking with each other.  They were great entertainment.

Even after all these uses (we have had these for three years now) they have lasted well.  They show minimal wear and tear.  Because they are made of metal, they can handle a lot of movement.  It is nice to feel like you can use them without having to be fragile with them.

These are great.  I like them and my family has many memories where we have used them.
